An "aerial acrobat on fabric" dances in our school !

What do you know about dancing with fabric?
                   Is this a sport?
How many students at Mark Twain do you think practise it?

             Getting ready: Miss Marian, Miss Virginia, Luis, José and his crew decorating and
challenging heights to set up everything for the big show.

Our guest Magalí Valdéz and our own acrobat Miss Lili are ready to start the exhibiton: here she is checking that the rope is well placed.

 " Children , see how Magalí stretches very well before beginning: this is very important !"
Right before the show, all the girls that do aerial acobatics were summoned to the front:
The show began with a striking fall:
We cannot believe our eyes!

The acrobats receive their certificates while everybody sings
           the "Mark Twain Thank You Song"

Children, remember you can click on COMMENTS and express your opinion :-)

Marina Heinz and Guille Villanueva: "CANTACUENTOS para los más chiquitos"

Marina y Guille ofrecen un espectáculo multimedia de cuentos y canciones con mucho baile y humoradas:

ForYouFOLKS: Natividad Perez Araoz blends Social Studies with FOLK MUSIC :

* What shall we do with the drunken sailor?
* Billy boy
* I've been working on the railroad
* Pick a bale of cotton
* All the pretty little horses
* Swing low, sweet charriot
* He's got the whole world in his hands
* Red River Valley
* Oh, Susana!

These are the songs Natividad, with Julián Zuppa in percussion and armonica, and Carlos Mozetic in guitar, chose to sing to 5th and 6th graders.
Her Powerpoint presentation explaining each of the songs illustrated beautifully her interpretations:
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
